Effect of chlorhexidine digluconate, Plantago major and placebo mouthrinse on dental plaque and gingivitis

This study was to determine the effect of different mouthwash preparations used as coadjuvants to regular oral hygiene measures on dental plaque and gingivitis in humans. 31 volunteers were recruited for the study and they were evaluated following 0, 21 and 42 days. The f indings suggested that lhe Plantado major mouthrinse was effective as supplement to regular control dental plaque and gingivitis.
